Dr. John Raymond Whipple, MD

I'll be completely honest, I just feel blessed he didn't get the chance to get more control over me, and I was able to escape his still interchanging and unprovided practice(s). He diagnosed me with a mental condition when it was actually clearly a neurological condition... He claims to also be a neurologist, which is very concerning to society, as I could have actually died from Tonic-Clonic seizures continue to happen in the brain. You couldn't pay me to go to him for anything, in-fact I should have a lawsuit for this as there had been times I have had these start and had to be rushed to the ER to live. Last time I checked that was called Medical Negligence. He is defiantly a Fascist to a degree and incorporates that onto others in a very slick manner. I doubt there are many (if any) coherent patients and/or ex-patients that would be capable of understanding his ways of manipulation of the mind... be cautious! I personally would highly AVOID this doctor and his associates! They… seem to be well educated on how to get around certain legal boundaries... Unfortunately he knows how to cover himself somewhat well and the information on who he would be working with and his other doctors and association(s) are not easy to find. So please be careful for your sake and stay safe than sorry. How much integrity and comfort would you feel going to talk with a doctor who got his Degree at school where the doctor there in charge of psychology committed suicide? FYI... Doctors with true good ethics, true diagnosis and help, make it further in life as well as Lawrence, KS.

We saw Dr. Whipple a while back, and we think he's fantastic! The only thing we didn't like was we had to pay 100 % out of pocket. He listened and gave great advice.

Dr. Whipple is one of the best psychiatrists I have ever seen. He is incredibly insightful, warm, caring, and goes out of his way to work with me on my issues, either with or without medication, as needed. It is very rare, these days, to find a psychiatrist who does both talk-therapy and prescribes medication. Dr. Whipple is a total find, especially in a small community like Lawrence. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
