Dr. John B Williams, MD

All ten of the reviews are 5 star, yet six have only the most negative comments. In a way, there is a perverse logic to this. Back in the day, the winner was #1, #2 was an also-ran, and #5 wasn’t even in the money. Whoever flipped that on its head for the now-usual ratings system has caused enormous confusion. It’s too late to correct it, though; all we can do is try to educate people.

the things that i really want to say about that doctor and the other specialists! This man is the most obnoxious, the most worthless piece of flesh that could ever come to choke existence !

Great Doctor

I asked to be moved from Mike Wiseman,NP who worked under Dr Williams. He told me to leave the practice and told all the other doctors no to see me. They have a monopoly on Endocrinology in Knoxville, Tn making it very difficult for me to manage my diabetes and thyroid. I am not able to get my medicines dos they have signed my death certificate,

I am assigned to Dr Williams but I am not allowed to see him. I am forced to see Mike Wiseman who is not a doctor but thinks he is. He is a Nurse Practitioner

He use to be great several years ago when I seen him. Now he is short at appointments, seems disconnected, soulless.... I have heard that many have left this practice and are willing to travel hours to another endocrinologist to avoid this practice.

I feel my visit with this physician was a waste of time and money. I was not given any tests or accurate information in regards as to why I went. I do not feel that I was listened to thoroughly during my initial visit to have the correct tests performed in order to achieve the accurate results. An appointment cannot be made without a referral, and it usually isn't possible to get opinion from another physician in this group. I wish there were more endocrinologists in the area to choose from. Still dealing with my health issue and will hopefully find another physician willing to listen and get the care that I desperately need.

I can't imagine anyone writing a negative review about this doctor. I know him personally as well as have heard what a great doctor he is. In fact, I am changing from my doctor to him because of his caring nature and experience.

I was not satisfied with this doctor. I'm 30 years old & I went to see him over severe fatigue. I have all the classic symptoms of thyroid & adrenal dysfunction. He did the classic thyroid blood test. I recieved a call from his office stating that my blood test results were normal and Dr.Williams was dismissing me. He did not ask me to come back for further testing & I had only been there for 1 visit. Rare thyroid & adrenal disorders have been fatel in my family. I even made sure this was something he was aware of.

I would reccomend this Doctor to all my family and friends. He is very caring and very intellengent. A very caring bedside manner Yet very professional.
