Dr. John Theodore Witte, MD

When seeing Dr. Witte, who wasn't really all that patient friendly, at the end of my visits with Dr. Witte, I asked him if there was anything else that he could do or suggest, his response was," there is nothing else he could do". When I tried to schedule another appointment with him, they gave me an appointment with one of the PAs who prescribed me several medications. There was no suggestions to make a follow-up appointment to see if the medications were working or to find out how I was doing. So after all the many appointments and paying for the co-pays, (which add up), and then finding out I was suffering from Gastroparesis and Esophageal Reflux, there was nothing he could do. When I got home, I went online and started to read up on my medical condition, I was reading what others had to say. I came across several patients comments and read that there were procedures that doctors could do. it talked about how the doctor could insert a instrument in your stomach, and when you… would eat, it would activate your stomach juices to start breaking down the food. There's also medications that they can give you to activate your stomach juices also. And yet all I got from Dr Witte was," there was nothing he could do".

Great bedside manner, freely answers questions and explains whatever needed. Courteous Staff

Will continue to use this doctor. Found reason for odd symptons.

Diagnosed my colo-rectal cancer years before I was due to have my first colonoscopy. Is an amazing surgeon.

Dr. Witte is an exceptional, caring, & great physician. However, his receptionist staff are rude, without compassion, & total disregard for patient care. Because of the rudeness, we are deciding whether to return, or find another Gastroenterologist.

Ive had dr. Witte as a doctor for about 8 years now, he's seen me through everything, and even when I have to bring all four of my kids in with me (hubbys in the army) he is patient and kind. One time I was so sick and in pain the nurse helped change my baby and the staff all pulled together so dr Witte could help me. He has literally givin me a new lease on life. I highly recommend him. Amazing dr whom I trust with my life, and I will not trust or go to anyone else. He's the only one who believed me when I said I was sick, every other dr before him just gave me pain meds or called me a liar.

I has a HORRIBLE experience with Dr. Witte, he has terrible bed side manner, and taunted me during my procedure. It was one of the most degrading experience in my life.
