good doctor overall

After a year, this doctor knows nothing about me, or my medical issues. He cannot remember anything from visit to visit and obviously does not take good notes. Each visit feels like I am meeting him for the first time. He continually "up sells". Another shot, another education, a full physical...added on to whatever the original visit was for. Not that he is interested in the results of any of it. He spent zero time talking to me and most of the five minutes having a discussion with the nurse.

Perhaps too many patients to keep track of. Perhaps lots of work stress. Perhaps time to retire. Each visit feels like the first since he cannot remember, nor apparently care to, one visit to the next. Actually forgot the diagnosis he made for me 6 months earlier! Smdh.

Dr Wittenberg is the best. We have been going to him for over 20 years and would never consider anyone else.

Good Doctor, good staff, not pleased with new location. From 97' to 2011, utilized Dr. Wittenberg, and watched his office move 4 or 5 (several times in the same building). Originally, I don't understand why it took so long to diagnose my Type II diabetes (actually had to ask them to look for it as other friends have same symptoms). They always want you to come into the office, which was acceptable, until the 2011 location across the street from Hospital (Hospital parking) where parking is a pain. Although it appears he is the most knowledgeable physician for diabetes in the North Texas area, I'm supposed to have stress with this condition, so will no longer be using his office.

Dr Wittenberg's the best! Always well prepared and spends time to listen to questions and explain things.

I would strongly recommend Dr Wittenberg as an internist and general family practioner.
