Dr. John Joseph Wittman, MD

My friend has a special needs child and drove all the way to the South side to get his expertise. However, they were about 10 mins late and Dr. Wittman refused to see this patient, even after explaining that the patient has special needs. This is a total lack of empathy and understanding on the Doctor's part. I understand that time is money, but there comes a time, when we need to humanize a situation and this is one such case.

He was absolutely disinterested in anything I had to say. Rude, pious and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone searching for answers.

Arrogant, unempathetic dillweed. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Office staff was kind and efficient.They called me two days prior to my appointment to re-confirm when I should arrive and what information to bring. Dr. Wittman provides excellent care. He was able to diagnosis my illness quickly and got me on the appropriate medication so I could control my symptoms.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wittman's for several years. I appreciate his seriousness and attention to detail. He is not a "warm and fuzzy" type of person. He listens and invites you to ask questions. It is clear he knows his business. I highly recommend him!

Very Professional and knowledgeable beyond my expectations since he took over for Dr.McGee, (May he Rest In Peace). My favorite thing about Dr. Whittman is the straightforward and honest answers I get from him.

On my first visit to see Dr. Wittman, I found him to be very attentive, listening to my concerns, and following up with a very professional examination. He asked me a lot of questions and finally proposed appropriate follow-up actions such as lab tests, an MRI and a separate evaluation from another medical professional. I will definitely go back to see Dr. Wittman, and recommend him to others in need.

Dr. Wittman quickly, carefully, and efficiently learned about my neurological issue and examined me. He then ordered testing. After he had the results, he called to tell me the results and referred me to a surgeon.
