Dr. John Michael Woods, MD

Having my medication refilled is like pulling teeth. I have HG and I have been trying for a week to get my medication refilled. In addition one of my medications was called in wrong and Dr. Woods blamed it on the pharmacy although you can clearly see in my chart the medication was out in incorrectly on my drs. end. Also, as another commentator stated, Dr. Woods seems to ignore UTIs. I can see in my Iris account my lab results show a UTI yet the dr has not addressed it at all. I switched to a new OBGYN at 28th place. All around it just is not a welcoming environment. They also never see you at the scheduled appointment time. I’ve waited nearly an hour past my appointment time to be taken back.

Dr. Woods is wonderful. He will take the time to listen if you take the time to ask.I miss him!

I cant say anything good about this dr other than if you like to be lied to, misdiagnosed, and be on deaths door due to him not caring. PLASE FIND AN OTHER DR THERE ARE ALOT OF GOOD ONES IN THE SALISBURY AREA.

This office has been by my side through all 5 of my pregnancies, one of which was a miscarriage. He has also performed surgery on me as well. My 5 pregnancies included: 1. preterm labor and preterm delivery 2. preterm labor and preterm delivery 3. preterm labor and full-term delivery 4. pregnancy ended in miscarriage 5. full term delivery. As seen above I had some complications with a few of my pregnancies and Dr. Woods always kept mine and my babies health and safety in the forefront of all he did. I've trusted him completely. And to the "posting" above who said he didn't have good bedside manner - he has a wonderful dry sense of humor. Maybe this person just didn't understand it but I always found him absolutely engaging and he never gave me the impression he was in a rush to see the next patient. He always gave me the time and attention that I needed. In summary, He's a wonderful man and doctor and I would recommend him to anyone!

I will def. choose another OBGYN for the future. It's not very pleasant to go for your annual checkups in the first place so you want a doctor that is comforting and nice - Dr. Woods is neither!

Dr. Woods delivered my baby. I had a terrible time in delivery. Dr. Woods let me push and hour and a half before using a vacuum to get him out. When I was admitted to the hospital for delivery, I had a UTI. I had just been to Dr. Woods the day before and he didn't catch it. My overall impression was that he doesn't really care about his patients, we are just a paycheck.
