Dr. John Gregory Yaros, MD

Need to retire if he doesn’t want to help anyone. He literally believes he is the end all be all of the way YOU feel. You tell him something is wrong and he says it’s absolutely nothing. This is the second time I’ve gone to him and he said it was nothing and went to someone else and they diagnosis me in seconds. I will definitely be finding a new doctor. Is there such a thing as a no star review because if there is that’s what this guy gets.

The guy will NOT listen to you. I needed help and did not get any.

I can't believe the reviews I'm seeing here. Dr. Yaros has been an amazing PCP for the past 4 to 5 years I've been with him. He always spends a lot of time with me covering my care plan until the next round of blood work, and is willing to discuss anything I bring up, obviously within reason. I feel that the people writing bad reviews are just looking for someone to give them painkillers, because I can't say a bad word about this man. He comes off very serious, but wouldnt you wan't your PCP to be serious?? I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Dr. Yaros to anyone.

The above acronym ironically says it all.

Rushed, horrible bedside manner, unprofessional, dismissed my concerns, totally degrading. Will not return to him!

I can not believe I ave wasted 30 years with this man. Granted, I have never been "SICK" Now, it seems that I have high blood pressure. At least that is what he says. I went because of a LONG list of complaints that have come up since I quit smoking. He NEVER listened to ONE complaint. Never once address what I was feeling.. Game me pills and said come back in 6 months. when cornered in the hall after his time was up, he said, "I don't have time for that now".. I don't think I will have time to pay his CO-Pay now. I will seek a new doctor. I sure hope he reads this, and figures out who it is. Not that I think he would care. I do hope this helps someone else that needs a doctor to listen.

This Doctor is a disgrace to his profession. Besides his unbelievable arrogance and having the beside manor of a Rottweiler, I truely believe he just doesn't care about his patients, especially the elderly. He's the attending physician at a local nursing home, and he has no sense of urgency, regardless of the situation. He doesn't let the patient speak, let alone actually listen to what they have to say. Forget follow up - he doesn't return calls at all. I wouldn't let this man treat my Dog, let alone a family member! Think Twice about seeking treatment from this man. I have never been so appalled by a member of the medical community in all my life.

Went to him because my parents went there. Had a sore foot - he told me there was nothing wrong. Went to another doctor three weeks later - it was a broken bone. He loves to hear himself talk and he does not listen to the patient.

Dr. Yaros does have a quirky bedside manner. He explains everything in medical detail but don't be afraid to ask for layman terms. He doesn't seem to be a believer in more holistic treatments. He is readily available to discuss your issues & calls you back fairly quickly. He doesn't rush your appointments at all. VERY knowledgeable.

I recently moved into the area and Dr. Yaros was recommended to me by a local RN. I have multiple serious conditions. Dr. Yaros is the MOST thorough doctor I have ever seen. He gives attention to every problem that I have and is able to manage my care without me going to 5 different specialists (which I had to do in my old home). When I needed a specialist, he sent me right away. I am blessed to have such an intelligent and caring doctor. His staff is wonderful!!
