I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, and have completed my post-graduate studies at the University of California in San Francisco, School of Dentistry. I am a fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry and a sustaining member with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. I am also a member of the orthodontic society at the United States Dental Institute and a member with the American Dental Association and California Dental Association.
Prior to my dental career, I was a graduate of Santa Clara University with a degree in Chemistry and was inducted into the scientific research society, Sigma Xi, and was awarded Analytical Chemist from the American Chemical Society. I then attended the University of California in Los Angeles as a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Physical Chemistry. Later I was employed by a pharmaceutical company to research and develop transdermal drugs in treatment of various skin and mucosal diseases. …It is this integration of my background in scientific research and my understanding of forms in nature that allows me to practice not just the science of dentistry but also the art of dentistry. Dentistry, like all other biological fields, is very intricate and complex and requires attention to details, life-long commitment to learning and responsibilities, and passion to achieve nothing less than excellent dentistry.
