Dr. John Sigfred Yuthas, MD

The nurse had to tell me what my illness was and how to treat it. We asked to talk to Dr. Yuthas and she had to beg him and he kept walking off while we were asking questions. Very rude. I just looked him up. How do I trust a doctor with that many malpractice suites? I will ask for a different doctor next time.

Terrible bedside manner. I hear he's got a high IQ but has no idea how to talk to patients. There was absolutely no follow up with me. I don't even remember getting a discharge summary. The questions he asked me led me to believe I'd wound up in ketoacidotic shock, but that was not his diagnosis. He kept asking me questions like if I had a hypoglycemic history or a history of Tourette's. He dagnosed a psychological problem but did not send me to the psychiatric floor. Neither did he medicate me. Neither did I feel he got my diagnosis right. Needs to get a feel for the patients. Not a good experience. If his nurses have improved, he might have something great 9 years later.
