Dr. John M Zak III, MD

The only reason i went to this doctor is because the ER had his name on my paperwork as a follow-up. The low review ratings you see online are Correct. He did not listen to anything I had to say, and led me to the check out desk as i was still trying to ask him a question. Rose, Gladys, and the rest of the office staff left me in limbo, in PAIN, for over 3 weeks while they neglected to access my surgery report. Inept, and Rude staff. There are plenty of other doctors out there to choose from, and I am moving on.

He might be a good doctor, but his receptionist/biller Gladys is extremely rude and unprofessional, makes a lot of mistakes and ballooning your bill to a total rip-off. There is no communication with the doctor whatsoever, once you are done with a procedure, or you want to complain on his staff. Stay away from this office! There are other doctors around.

Dr Zak strikes me as a highly intelligent physician and interested in answering my questions. The diagnoses he has made during examination and interview have been verified through GI procedures (endoscopy and colonoscopy). He has taken the time to answer my questions and gives me confidence in his medical evaluation, as to the correct course of action. I have always found him to be personable and having good humor. He's a pleasant doctor with whom I enjoy communicating. He is very competent and I would surely recommend him to a loved one or a good friend. He's a nice guy. G. Arbuckle

Dr Zak explains every thing in detail. He takes his time and he is very educated in his field. He is a little eccentric, once you get past that you will see he knows what he is doing.

Avoid John Zak MD, Was in his care for a week at Flagler Hospital. Turned my moderate colitis into near mega colon due to improper treatment. The guys is a hack and does not listen to patients concerns.

I met him twice,it doesn't surprise me he can't get more than 2 or 3 stars...in my humble opinion he's a wanna be man, he made me wait then never showed up,he doesn't answer calls and I speculate he doesn't own his own backbone, I almost find it sad and feel bad for him again,,my opinion he is too busy listening to what everyone else says and does whatever they tell him to do...again in closing my opinion is he should put away what money his wife allows him,and buy a backbone and he wouldn't have to be what I speculate is a cuckhold.

One hour and 35 minutes to see him.Outragious!
