Dr. John Allen Zernia, MD

Dr. Zernia makes the already terrifying ordeal of going to the ER an even more unpleasant experience. His demeanor towards both myself as a patient and the people who worked with him seemed to be that of a man who thinks everyone is beneath him. I think he took one look at me and saw that I was a young adult, and automatically came to his own conclusion of what to do without even listening to me. I went in for a migraine. I don't have a history of headaches. Zernia's advice? That I needed sleep. No duh. But kindof hard to do that when your head is about to explode and you don't know why. Honestly, the few times I've had the misfortune of being seen by Zernia have made it really tough for me to go back to the ER, even when I know I should go for some things.

Did not treat me like a human being. Only saw me as a thing to quickly check off his list.
