Dr. Johnesha Truesdale

Johnesha “Maggie” Truesdale is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of North Carolina and has been practicing clinical social work since 2018. Maggie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work at North Carolina Central University, then entered the highly competitive Advanced Standing Program at North Carolina State University where she earned her Master’s degree in Social Work. She has a significant amount of experience working with children and families addressing parenting/co-parenting challenges, child behaviors, and overall relationship and family dynamics, as well as working with individuals and couples. Maggie provides a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic environment and utilizes a variety of approaches when working with her clients that embody a holistic, person-centered approach. Some of the treatment practices she regularly uses are cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, emotion-focused, mindfulness-based, and faith-based therapy interventions.
