Dr. Johnnie Maurice Woodson JR., MD

We have been seeing Dr Woodson for over 15 years. He has earned our loyalty with his quality care and friendly personality.

Dr. Woodson helped me with eczema after I saw 3 other dermatologists who didn't. Hee is kind and smart.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Woodson and got an appt. 3 weeks from when I called, then received a phone call that Dr. Woodson has an emergency and wouldn't be in that day would I like to see his PA.... so I said OK, since I have a problem and it needs medical attention and I have waited 3 weeks. Wouldn't you think that if the doctor cancelled the appt. they would re-schedule me as soon as possible for his next appt. NO..... booking 4 weeks out, so I saw Nick. Nick was very nice but I think he is treating me incorrectly. The antibiotic he gave me doesn't work and so I called the office and the girl said "KEEP TAKING IT", I said the rash is getting worst why am I taking the antibiotic, obviously it is the wrong one. She was supposed to talk with Nick and call me back..... I'm still waiting for the callback.... Not a good first impression of this office.........

Have NEVER seen the doctor, just a PA, tried to make a follow up apt after a biopsy, need to wait a month or be seen by "provider he's got in", huh? My Internist recommended but this guy has multiple locations doing big push on cosmetic procedures so obviously $$$$ focused. YUK. I'm just looking for a good dermatologist and this is not it

The worst organized professional organization I have ever encountered.

Horrible office, horrible doctor. He's not even board certified!! How can you be in practice for 20+ years and not be board certified! If you make an appointment, be prepared to spend your entire day there, then another day calling to get your prescriptions sent to pharmacy (which they said were already sent).

Good luck getting anyone to call you back. My son has been taking an accutane medication for 5 months...still waiting (8 days now) for a return call for his last month. Every month it is a fight to get this renewed. Once we are done with this we are finding a new dermatologist office. The office staff is unwilling to help with anything, and who employees a PA that will only see patients until 2pm? He is in high school, he shouldn't have to miss school for a cosmetic treatment. Absurd!

did not think his recommendations were medically sound rather to put money in pocket with unneccasary biopsies in fact one recomendation was nfor were my dog's nail had nicked my arm. Quak comes to mind.

My skin was in really bad shape and was out of town. As soon as i got back ,contacted them and after a few Cancellations,they got me in. Doctor Johnnie and Michelle R. could not have been more empathetic to my needs and got me my prescriptions ASAP.I would highly recommend them and everyone that I was in contact with could not have been nicer.Good Job!

Dr. Johnnie Woodson is a poor excuse for a "physician", as they call him. He is a physician that is in the business of helping his pocket as opposed to his patients. For starters, his wait time is excessive with an average wait time of at least 1 hour minimal. His staff is cold, rude, uncaring, and in-compassionate. My 13 year old daughter was literally dying from anaphylaxis and he never even returned my calls. Both Dr. Woodson and his staff could care less about patients, especially children. Ironically Dr. Woodson is a father of 4. He could care less. His staff informed me yesterday that Dr. Woodson is too busy to talk to me about my daughter's condition, even though I was there in person and left several weeks worth of messages. In addition, to speak to him for only one minute, that means as soon as he opens his mouth to discuss about a patient, it costs money. This is his staff's words verbatim. This doctor is a sham and a cold, callous, uncaring, insensitive person who cares… about nothing but himself and his financial gain. You would think that a physician takes a Hippocratic Oath of helping patients as opposed to helping only themselves.Don't make the mistake in going to see this "doctor" if you are in need of REAL help. Definitely a waste of time, money, and energy. I would definitely NOT Recommend Dr. Johnnie Woodson to anyone.
