Dr. Johnny Manoon Gibbs, MD

I had hip surgery performed by Dr Gibb It's been almost one year I'm doing very good on recovering process.I found him to be excellent during this experience. Would not hesitate to use him again for future issues I might have. I deffinetly felt he truly cared about me as a patient.

I can’t thank him and staff enough for taking care of me. He was kind enough to see me even though he wasn’t the operating doctor but still cared for me as I had surgery out of town from a car accident. Just talking to other patients in the room we were put at ease. We will be back if ever we need help!

Definitely the best Ortho I could have asked for to help fix my torn rotator cuff and rebuild strength. I'm a competitive Olympic Lifter and I owe my recovery Dr. Gibbs diligent recovery plan. Trust him completely!!!! Staff is SUPER friendly. I also felt like a VIP patient.

Saw him for second opinion after prior surgery with another doctor. He fixed what the last doctor couldn't. And he was as nice as could be along the way. Will definitely see him if needed again

I am very thankful and happy with the work Dr. Gibbs did on my knee. I felt safe during the whole process and Dr. Gibbs was strait forward and easy to understand.

Dr. Gibbs and his team are all amazing! I had a labrum tear in my shoulder after a dislocation. Dr. Gibbs explained everything to me and was very excited to work with me which really made me less nervous. He drew out a picture of the shoulder and labrum for me so I knew exactly what was going on and what to expect. He did not push for surgery but informed me of the risk I will dislocate again if opted against it. He explained the surgery, my sling and recovery time all before hand once I decided to do it. He even caught that my labrum was also torn on the back side (which was not shown from my MRI). Personally I experienced little to no pain after surgery and my rehab after went flawless and moved along quickly. His wait times are short, he doesn't spend a ton of time with you unless you have questions- so he's great at getting you in and out of there, great sense of humor too! His entire team is friendly and helpful, they all knew who I was and were very kind. Extremely… please with my surgery, the minimal scarring and how quickly I recovered after.

I've had two visits with Dr. Gibbs, the first one was okay, but had trouble getting a diagnosis on the basis of the severity of my pain level. I returned for a f/u visit the other day and that was terrible, probably spent 1-2 minutes if that with me, told me I needed a MRI and walked out of the room, never said goodbye or tried to offer anything else to ease my problem until I could get my MRI scheduled. By the way could not get the MRI for a week so had to go Florida Orthopedic Institute for treatment.

Wanted to take a second and ackinwledge my experience with Dr. Gibbs. I'm happy to say it's a huge success story due to his expertise with ACL repairs. He is someone I'd recommend for anyone who's come across an injury similar to mine or any for that matter. His bedside manners were amazing... I was given information that made perfect sense. When I felt hopeless, or discouraged I always left the office with a smile on my face. Thank you for everything Dr. Gibbs and staff.
