Dr. Denham was condescending and treated me and my child with disrespect. Did not listen to my child.

She completely dismissed her colleagues diagnosis..she saw my child for 10 minutes once and decided she was 'faking" gastroparesis and cyclic vomiting syndrome. Very rude . Do not bring your child here EVER.

Best doctor I've ever had. I started visiting Dr. Denham when I was 17. From the first appointment to the one I'm going to tomorrow there has always been smiles in the rooms. My case was a rare one and we took immediate action by getting a colonoscopy. But not just one I got four colonoscopies over a period of 8 months to see if my medicines were working and to make sure we were 100% I had UC and not some other disease. We were reassured it was UC then later found out no medicene would work for me. I then had a full colectomy and she even stopped by in the hospital in my recovery time to see how I was. I still see her and she is the only doctor I've ever looked forward to seeing. Very credible and tells you every option and way to handle your issue.

Horrible experience, beware of this doctor, she won't listen and blamed me, the parent for "making my child sick" disgusting.

Argued about having testing done 2hrs away from my home even though there is a hospital within 5 miles with a nicu & the ability to do testing. It was all about her facility getting paid & not anothers. Diagnosed with something that was not true upon testing. Does not respect parent wishes or opinions.

Dr. White ( who is now married and goes by Dr. Denham) is excellent. We highly recommend her as a GI specialist. The moment she entered the examination room we felt comfortable and welcomed. She took time to build a relationship with my daughter while at the same time an extensive diagnosis. Dr. Denham is an intelligent physician, but she could be a TEACHER. She used medical vocabulary, but explained each term in words we could understand. She was not offended with my multitude of questions. Her philosophy is to NOT have any child on medication. Medication is a stop-gap that allows the body to heal, but the goal is not lifelong medication. We value that. I also like how she gave us an immediate plan of attack. Then, given the results of testing, she told us what to expect if the test is positive and if it is negative. Having a plan helped relieve our fear and comfort our daughter. Having this appointment with Dr. Denham made our day! We talked in the car… on the way home, "She is so nice!" "Mom, I think she really cares about ME." We called the grandparents. We told the waitress at lunch. This was such a good experience. We have hope, but more importantly, we have trust in Dr. Denham--her diagnosis, her therapy plan, and her talents.
