Dr. Jon Lawrence Bass, MD

I am 74 and have been seeing Dr Bass for 3 years now and I wanted to remark on how caring and understanding he has been and continues to be. I have an asthma-like condition which basically needs treating as opposed to curing. His input and explanation is very reassuring and effective and my tennis game reflects this... Thank you Dr Bass

I have COPD and have been treated by Dr Bass for the past five years. He has worked to keep me healthy, active and out of the hospital for past four years. Prior to this it appeared as though I was in and out of the hospital every three to six months. He is a good listener who encourages me to talk about my health issues and he is not a pill pusher. He believes in the power of physical therapy and it along with the right medications has really worked well for me. I have seen other Pulmonary specialist but Dr Bass is the best.

I've seen Dr. Bass 3 times and he is always thorough, he asks questions and shows interest in what you are telling him. He goes out of his way to help you. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pulmonary physician. Definitely a top doctor - not a "top doctor" who pays his way into a Connelly registry. By the way, you can't go by those lists anymore as they are not a true representation of a great doctor as they are lists that you pay to be on through a registry and they have found that even those in the Top Doctor lists in the national magazines are sometimes not even practicing physicians.
