Jon Engelby, D.M.D.
Dr. Jon Engelby practices dentistry with a focus on prevention and providing quality care to all of his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Engelby is usually on his boat, enjoying the beautiful San Juan Islands. One of Jon’s favorite pastimes is fishing, and his dental office in Sedro-Woolley features photos of Jon with some of his biggest catches.
Education
Dr. Engelby graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He earned his DMD degree from Oregon Health Sciences University, where he earned the Rose Award for outstanding patient care.

Dr. Engelby is a proud member of the Washington State Dental Association – Mt. Baker Chapter, Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the R.V. Tucker Gold Academy.

Prevention is the key to good dentistry, and a smile can last a lifetime. My goal is to provide long-lasting, high-quality …dentistry to all of my patients. I approach each patient with an open ear. When a patient comes to me for their dental needs, listening and treating them with respect are my priorities.
Dr. Collier and Dr. Engelby both believe in the importance of continuing education. While they are required to attend 24 hours of continuing education classes per year, they each participate in over 100 hours per year. They also attend study clubs to advance their knowledge and hone their skills.
