Dr. Jon Englund, MD

Gave him 5 stars in the past when he was my go-to ortho. However, he has gotten so conservative in his approach and told me to wait an additional 2 months before getting an updated MRI when I'm in so much pain I can't sit and he didn't even examine my sore area at my last appointment. I now have back pain from sitting in unusual positions, can't travel to work, and am having a very difficult time financially due to being unable to work. My new ortho reviewed my latest MRI, compared it to the previous, ordered another test based on the findings, and is looking into a potential nerve issue, whereas Dr. Englund was convinced all of my issues were tendon related. Dr. Englund apparently didn't even look at the previous MRI scan he ordered because he would have seen that the wrong leg was scanned in all of the single leg pictures! If I was still seeing Dr. Englund it would be several months before anything else was even ordered and I would continue to suffer for a long time.

I have had an ongoing problem from a car crash in 1981 that no doctors could explain, so they just treated the symptoms. My current primary care doctor sympathized with that and sent me to to see Dr. Englund. Within the first hour together he found my problem was spinal stenosis from the crash. He immediately put a treatment plan together to stop the progress of the injury as I aged, and has been hands on in all phases of what we are doing together, even when he sends me on to other specialists. He fosters the type of confidence in his patients that whenever I have something come up I don't know how to deal with, I know he is one "my chart" message away. That alone makes me feel better. I know he will get me through what I need to be better, I trust him, and will follow what he asks me to do. He's that type of doctor and I'm glad I was sent to him. You will be too.

If your going to a Doctor causes you concern, you will find Dr. Englund puts those concerns to rest. He is warm, friendly and compassionate as well as well versed in what he does. He is amazing.

I have seen Dr Englund at least half a dozen times for various running and sports injuries. He is very caring and explains all options so that you really understand things and gives his professional opinion as to treatment and followup. You will not be disappointed if you see Dr Englund! A complete professional!

Prior to seeing Dr. Englund, I had been treated for 6 months for an injury. I had become increasingly frustrated with the care as I still did not have an accurate diagnosis and I felt like no one was hearing what I was saying. My daughter had been referred to Dr. Englund and I was so impressed with the level of care, attentiveness and how he truly listened to her that I began seeing him myself. At the first appointment, not only did Dr. Englund hear what I was saying, he understood and he explained things to me that no one else had. AND it made sense. Very shortly after my first visit, I had a diagnosis and a treatment plan. My daughter and I both LOVE Dr. Englund. He truly cares about his patients and it shows.

Would recommend Dr Englund to anyone. He is a wonderful, caring doctor who spends much time explaining things. He doesn't rush you.

Dr England has taken care of me through multiple stress fractures. Each time he has made sure that tests were done in a timely manner and even called me at home to give me the results. He cares about his patients and it shows! I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Dr. Englund is very thorough. He does not rush you in and out of his office and takes the time to listen to what's going on. He is knowledgeable, caring and gentle. I would highly recommend him him. He has help me to overcome a few orthopedic health issues.

Dr. Englund is a first class physician - knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous. He actually takes the time to listen to the patient and explain things in an understandable way!! And he followed up with a personal phone call after the visit. Excellent!

I have been treated by Dr. Englund for various sports related injuries over the past couple of years. He has always gone way above and beyond to accommodate my schedule, and needs. He has spent a great deal of time listening to my issues and explaining my options. I will continue to see Dr Englund for any Orthopedic issues I have.
