Dr. Jon Alan Erickson, MD

Dr. Erickson has been treating a number of my skin issues for many years. He is an excellent dermatologist!

The behavior of the office staff was the rudest I’ve ever experienced !! I brought my 91 year old aunt to his office with a letter of referral in hand. They told me I they had not received the referral from the pmd and they would not see her. The office person was extremely unpleasant and unwilling to work with us even after we had the referring office on the phone. She almost called security to get us out of the office. I am a retired emergency room RN and have dealt in medicine and difficult people most of my life. I would not recommend this office at all. I think Dr Ericson should think twice as to whom he wants to represent him.

Dr. Erickson spent only a couple of minutes with me. He had to be prompted to check spots I was concerned about and left. Seemed to be in a hurry and I felt dumb for going to see him.

Dr Ericson was very prompt thorough and gave me right medication for my Dermatology condition. He even remembered me after 2 years.

Unfortunately you do not offer a lower rating. After waiting I was shuffled in, the guy just grabbed his canister and froze obvious spots. No follow up no wound care instructions. now 2 months later I have changed doctors. The spots he froze had to be cut out. He told me I had nothing on my scalp yet just had a biopsy done for growth. Time for this doctor to retire!

I have seen Dr. Erickson 3 times now and he has yet to provide a diagnosis and a treatment for my ailment. He has prescribed medication that had absolutely no affect and when questioned about it he prescribed a double dose. His bedside manner is cold and uncaring. I will not return.

I have seen Dr. Erickson twice over the years. I found him to be very caring and prescribed the proper medication for my situation. The office staff is very friendly. I have n complaints.

I have wasted only more time at the DMV without an appointment. He couldn't diagnose psoriasis after two visits. Rude, uncaring, and a waste of $80 in copays and $120 in unnecessary medications. Read this and go the to next doctor. Ease of appointment was great because nobody who read these reviews would make one.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Erickson for more than 10 years. You are seen within 5 minutes of your appointed time -- something I greatly appreciate. He is thorough and knows his stuff. I thinks he's great!

My overall experience with Dr. Erickson was very favorable. He showed empathy for my embarrassing skin condition and he was willing to prescribe Accutane, the only thing that helps with Senile Sebacious Hyperplasia. When he had to electrode off nodules, he was very sympathetic as to the pain.
