Dr. Jon E Grant, MD

Dr. Grant is awesome, he takes his time and really is so caring. I feel very comfortable with him, just a great professional doctor.

He made poor decisions with regards to my diagnosis and made me feel very very sick. He gave me tons of prescribed drugs and even above the daily max dose. Jon Grant was crossing his legs and arrogantly talking to me when I visited his office (I was his patient over one year) like he was a superior and that made me feel really really sick as well. I do not recommend this guy.

I find this clinic to be terrible. Since Dr. Grant's departure (which was a fiasco I might add) it's gotten worse, as I am now being shuffled around by residents. Yes, it is a research facility, so they are more ahead of the game than some psychiatrists. Good for them. The intake staff is exceptionally rude (grad students or interns I'm assuming) nurses don't return calls, medication refills are not responded to promptly, and it just feels like treating patients is not a top priority here. You're better off to seek care else. I'll be moving on.

I met Dr. Grant when I participated in one of his clinical trials. I was really impressed by the amount of caring he showed me during that time so I asked him if he would take me on as a patient since I was not satisfied with my now ex-provider. He has given me hope when I was nearly out of it. At the end of the visit he took out a pad of paper and wrote down his treatment recommendations and explained them again. I've never had a doctor of any kind do that before.
