Great physician! Very nice and my procedure helped me

I recently had an ESI done by Dr. Horn and a team of others. Immediately I was made uncomfortable when I was asked by the nurse what i was there for, but ESI wasnt enough info. She needed to know exactly where i was getting the injection like they didnt know themselves, as opposed to asking just to verify I was the right patient. I still dont know if they even did the injection in the right spot or just went off of what i said. I mentioned the fear monger stories I had seen about arachnoiditis and such, to which she replied "the chances of negative effects are so small that we dont even bother mentioning them"! Seriously?! Dr. Horn himself explained nothing either. He was polite, but in no way comforting. Especially when he brought in students to participate, not just observe, without a word to me like i wasnt even in the room. The only communication he did with me during the procedure was to tell me the soap was orange but would wash off. Nevermind what all of that pain about. Yes, it… was painful. Especially when he kept hitting bone because he couldnt get the needle in between vertebrae. Probably didnt help that whoever was operating the xray machine kept slamming it into the table while there was a needle in my spine! A needle im almost sure was being handle by a student! As if that wasnt scary enough, they all like to whisper when things are obviously not going the way they want. At that point i just gave into the idea that i may be leaving paralyzed. Not joking. 10 or 15 minutes in they decided to jam a pillow under my chest to open the vertebrae so he could could get the needle through. So there i am doing a pushup on the table while someone crams a pillow under me. All with a needle still in my back. When it was finally over Dr. Horn was gone before i even got the cloth off my head. Never saw him again, even during the extended hold time i had due to being in pain. Terrible, terrifying experience. Darn steroids havent even helped my pain.

For someone to call and just get reading from a scan and have to wait on them over an hour is not good service then charge over 200.00 and then will not help you with financial assistance i WOULNT recommend them
