Dr. Jon Stuart Hourigan, MD

Pain got worse after three days of having a fistulotomy, called after hours talked to dr that upped my medicine and was tiold to call hourigans nurse and they would take care of me. I was asked a hundred questions by a receptionist and then nurse jenni calls back later and first thing she asked does the narcotics work I said yes. She tells me everything it could be other than surgery. Said dr is out of the office can’t write anything till next day until the dr comes back. Was suppose to call me back same day did not and still hasn’t called the second day. And never said come in let us look at it or anything just how I’m a drug addict. I mentioned going to pmc er and she said no need they won’t help. So I’m stuck hurting so I would not recommend on any level until they can be more compassionate with patients .

Never informed after surgeries rather clueless on what he did to my body it's not feeling good and they really don't give a crap end of story true story

I was so surprised at the time he spent with me and my husband. He answered question after questions that we both had for him. I'm a straight up type person. I ask questions straight on. He would just smile and answer the question. Him and his nurses were very polite and kind. I would definitely recommend him to friends or family. I'm hoping the surgery that is planned with him will take care of my past surgeries with other drs.

Very grateful that I was referred to Dr. Hourigan. He has been very thorough in his explanations and uses language a non-medical person can understand.. His staff has also been extremely nice...I like a Dr. who makes you feel like you are important to him..And this he conveys...

Dr. Hourigan is a good doctor & very respectful & nice, listens well, & seems to genuinely care. He seems very knowledgeable. Some of the staff are rude however.

Very satisfied with the care I recieved. Excellent surgeon.
