Dr. Jon Lawrence Hyman, MD

After months of being dismissed and written off, Dr. Hyman refused to acknowledge our daughters pain from a Labral Tear and FAI which was evident in an MRI. We were told that surgery to fix the issue would "cause more harm than good" and that she would "grow out of it". We finally had it when he had the nerve to say that our 15 yr. old daughter had a "neurological problem" that he "could guarantee 100% that the pain wasn't coming from the Labral Tear or FAI", and that we should get a "second opinion because we questioned his expertise" after a cortisone shot failed and caused her an additional problem to her leg. When I was frustrated and started crying out of sheer disbelief at his inability to provide us with any solutions, he judged me harshly and made personal statements that he should have refrained from making - (his bed side manor is terrible). Thankfully out of his own anger with us- he referred us to another specialist who was polar opposite. Our new specialist who was… exceptional, did the surgery and our daughter has recovered 100% and is pain free. Thank you Dr. Hyman for referring us to someone who did help our daughter.

The staff is professional and attentive and the PA was very thorough. I will definitely go back and continue my treatment and my journey to a full recovery

Jon Hyman and his staff are amazing. Not only are the personable but also highly organized and thorough. They truly care and understand the needs of their patients. I am a 37 year old and thought I would need a hip replacement but because of Jon’s skill set a hip arthroscopy was a great resolution to preserve my hip. Thanks Jon and team!!

Jon Hyman is one of the best orthopeadic doctors in Atlanta I have been to. Not only is he compassionate and caring, he is exceptionally talented as a surgeon. He performed two labral repairs on my hips and as a physical therapist that has treated people with my surgery, I could not be more impressed with the outcome and speedy recovery. He has trained with the best in the country and his skills speak for themselves. If you have any hip impingements, labral tears, or any other issue requiring arthroscopic surgery. I would highly reccomend him.

Dr Hyman is a fantastic doctor, I had ver severe hip pain for five months went to two different orthopedic doctors several times and none of them could help me. When I contacted Dr Hyman's office they were professional, compassionate and worked me in promptly. Dr Hyman diagnosed my hip problem gave me several options I chose surgery at this point, the surgery helped me tremendously, I am almost pain free and active again. He is a great doctor with great bedside manner and wonderful surgical skills. I recommend him to anybody requiring arhroscopic surgery!

I had a fully ruptured patella tendon and torn MCL , and Dr Hyman did an exceptional job. His bedside manor is like no other. He really takes his time helping you with your best options and procedure. I had my surgery years ago and Dr. Hyman still to this day will gurantee his work. I highly reccomend Dr. Hyman.
