Great experience

I was a new patient. First time visit was 10mins.! Even though I have multiple autoimmune diseases! He impressed me with wanting to run tests—saying he would take care of certain issues BUT then I was told he would see me in a year! I have many new issues come up on a month to month basis. In that 10 min. Visit not much was gone over! Most doctors that I see for a first time visit give me between a half hour & an hour visit. Before I left ,I talked them into a three month out visit! Two weeks later I get a phone call about high cholesterol & that at my next visit we will talk medication. When it was time for my visit to roll around, I get a phone call from Dr. Silk’s office telling me that I will have to change my appt. I was told that I would have to wait for an appt. another month! I asked why, and didn’t get a real answer—why not? Then I was told that other doctors in the practice were picking up Dr.Silk’s patient appts. Would I like to see one of them. This second visit to Dr.… Silk was important ( at least to me it was—obviously not to this doctor ) so my answer was no! Now this is the final situation—I need to have prescription meds that I am on from my old PCP renewed/I have high cholesterol that now is not addressed/I have a great amount of pain from two different medical issues that won’t be addressed !! Why would I go to a doctor I don’t know & didn’t ask for. I picked Dr. Silk specifically. Now I have waited weeks to get into a new doctor!!! I research doctors. All my research on Dr. Silk was a complete waste of time. In this day & age it is impossible to find a “ caring & professional & trustworthy doctor#%!

He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. Excellent bedside manner and speaks to people in a caring and kind way. Is very knowledgeable and never speaks over your head.

He is like a friend.

He doesn't listen to your symptoms and he waits too long to finally take action. I saw him 6 times within a short time (at least) for sinus infections before he referred me to an ENT. He is patronizing in his attitude and seems judgmental.

Didn't seem to care what I had to say. Didn't properly exam me. Seemed in a hurry to get out of the room. He spent no more than 5 minutes with me.

Seen Dr Silk at after hour's in Troy.2 time's in 3 day's i was having congestion in head and chest and trouble breathing. he did not check me out like i feel he should have.felt like i had to beg for medication because he did not want to give me anything. ended up in the ER 4 day's later. i feel it was his fault that this happened. have no desire for me or my husband to ever see him.

He was so rude and very judgemental about anything i am looking for a new dr now so if u value your selfworth and want to live stay away none of my prescriptions have been correct the farmacy tells me honey i wouldnt take these or that will do nothing for youre problem and i have to call him and he says oops sorry ya take this i hate him
