Dr. Jon Holland Steuernagle, MD

Unfortunately, this doc initial comes across as invested and interested, until conversations are had and he quickly back peddles denying things set (with witnesses). Dr. Steuernagle has VERY questionable boundaries and greatly overshared his partners medical history in an attempt to gain rapport, which ultimately made it clear if he was treating patients in the matter I can only imagine how he treats his partner with similar complex medical issues. Dr. Steuernagle was willing to bend the rules and allow a patient to give themselves a home IV medication at bedside while admitted to the ICU that pharmacy would not sign off on. Clearly has the intellect just purely based on his education & critical care training, just lacks the common sense and the ability to appropriate interact with patients and families, which is hard skill to teach so I suspect this will be as good at is gets for him at this point in his career. He is likely fine to deal with if you're intubated and completely… unaware of what is going on and being done to you and maybe that is why he ended up in critical care.

Very ill family member, well taken care of by Dr Steuernagle.
