Dr. Jon G. Traxler, MD, a distinguished otolaryngologist, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology and an active member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. After graduating with honors from Louisiana State University Medical School in 1992, Dr. Traxler's specialty training encompassed rotations at notable institutions, including Charity Hospital, Veterans Administration Hospital, University Hospital, and Children's Hospital. Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Traxler is a devoted family man, married with three children. He is also a passionate supporter of LSU Athletics, reflecting his deep ties to the Louisiana community.

Dr. Traxler has been our family ENT for over 20 years. He is the best of the best! I have recommended him to numerous people over the years and they all think the world of him as well. He has an excellent bedside manner and I think he is one of the smartest, caring, laid back., humble doctors I have ever known. Unfortunately, there aren’t more Dr. Traxlers in this world!

Wonderful doctor spent so much time with my Daughter to make sure he diagnosed her correctly. He was not in a hurry and made us feel so comfortable. His nurse Denita was wonderful also.

my son is only 3 and has had 6 sets of tubes put in his ears!! However I changed to Dr. Traxler and havent had a problem since!!! I love the way he makes us feel so special and he is always a great friendly, caring doctor!!!!
