Dr. Jonathan Eric Aronowitz, MD

Dr. Aronowitz took accountability for his actions and made sure to leave space where we can discuss what happened— a one-time issue that was resolved through proper communication and waiting to talk with him. His worries were understandable, and given the 10+ years he’s treated me, his honesty was actually quite helpful for both of us. It’s a refreshing change to have a doctor hear how you were upset, and to then have the doctor say they see what you mean, apologize for that time, and reassess their relationship with you and their behavior. I’m grateful to know Dr. A, and look forward to continuing to work with him.

Dr A used to be kind and welcoming. Recently, he has become cold and distant, and even harsh. He has said cruel things as assumptions that are based off of our interactions over a few years ago, and he has begun to get defensive and frustrating to deal with. He may state something kind, but hide budding animosity underneath. Then, when it is too much, he becomes harsh. He does not set boundaries clearly, and if a client steps over a boundary unknowingly, he will lash out. I hope he finds the help he needs.
