Not returning. Did he even wash his hands???

He was my dad's doctor but I have to changed his clinic because he was ineffective in treating his pain. He was unfriendly and condescending. He does not ask for your needs and walks in without introducing himself. My dad has been going to this clinic for almost 10 years but I'm forced to change provider because of his unprofessional behavior even when we try to advocate for our dad. I do not recommend him.

He took care of what I needed so that is good, but he was akin to a human looking robot; zero chit-chat, zero emotion, no bedside manner, just the facts. I wasn't even sure when we were done, when we were done, until he just got up and left the room.

He was very thorough, very professional, focused on the task. He spent time looking at my current and past data, asked all the right questions. I liked that he was focused on doing his job, not spending the time socializing. I love to talk, but don't need to use this important time doing so. By far the best doctor I have seen.

Dr. Bates is all business, little "chit chat" which can be a good thing. He answered all of the questions I had and provided me with information to take home.

Every appointment is spent with one hand on the door knob. He dismisses my opinion of what could be wrong. has time and time again said "you just don't know how it works". (I have medical training, so that is not true usually). He has mis printed in my records and will know addmit it. He just comes across as a doctor that just want's the paycheck. One of his diagnoses (a mis diagnoses) caused me to be dismissed from a hospital. I spent the next 10 days in Abbot NW getting treatment for severe nerve damage in my lower extremeties...that could have been avoided with a few base tests. He just missed the boat. I spent 6 months in a walker wondering if I would ever be able to do the things I love to do again because of his ignoring me and what I had to say. My neurologist (at another clinic, backed me, and rehabed me back so that I could hike the Grand Canyon rim to rim. I wont ever trust This doctor again.
