Dr. Jonathan William Blank, MD

Very rude and abrupt. He started by stating his name and began a speech with questions. All attempts to provide answers was met with impatience and being cut off. When we asked questions about the use of certain medications after surgery, he became very defensive and visibly agitated. We were taken aback by his curt reaction and his accusing us of "lecturing him on his craft." He corrected my pronunciation of a word in a sarcastic manner simply out of anger. He made it clear that he was not to be questioned and stated that "there were other patients that needed to be seen." His lack of professionalism was so out of line compared to the typical standards of Rex clinicians and nurses at Rex. After he left the room, the nurse who was present even apologized for his behavior and stated she would ensure we had another clinician for the procedure. It was, hands down, the most uncomfortable experience I have had with a physician.

He almost died from shots he gave me sugar shot up blood pressure too .

Dr. Blank was wonderful. He alleviated any preoperative fears and took the time to explain each step. He followed up post-surgery and I had no pain whatsoever.
