If you open your mind to his suggestions and then share your concerns and goals with him, he is going to work with you to help provide the best pain management options and they truly work as long as you show him you are making strides to work the plan. Yes he does push exercise and sleep, mindset but once I thought about the ultimate goal, you can not expect to keep tanking pain meds forever and continue to get better without other factors to aid in your pain management. Listen, talk and do the work. 2 years with pain under control and no more pain meds after 5+ years taking then due to multiple cervical fusions.

I have to admit over the years I have seen Dr. Blatt he has been intimidating but he also is real and does listen to you and your concerns and your treatment goals. If you are going to see him to get pain meds dished our like candy then look somewhere else. That is not his intention to treat you but as long as you stick to your plan he is there for you 100% and wants to get you back to functioning without relying on the almighty pill. My goal was to be out of pain as much as possible and following his intentions as well as listening to your hopes for recovery . I admit I was was apprehensive but ultimately I have been back to better than I had been feeling con years after 4 failed fusion surgeries but fingers crossed my pain has been minimal now for the past almost 2 years. Listen to him and he will listen and help you.

Dr Blatt has taken care of my back for a few years. We finally had him to burn the nerves and Dr Blatt did a fantastic job. He is the only one that I trust to take care of my back in this way. Thank you to him, I can move again.

After reading these reviews I was surprised to see how the Doc & his staff were slammed repeatedly. I’ve been seeing the Dr. for about a year & have never had an unpleasant visit to date. Dr. Blatt always takes his time never rushing through the visit. He’s a good listener & honestly cares contrary to what’s said in the reviews. He is also open minded & open for discussion. If you’re honest & within reason the Doc will give you an RX that you will be happy with. When it comes to the “looked down upon weed” Doc doesn’t sweat the small stuff. I’m being totally truthful because I know from experience being 65 how terrible some doctors are. I can’t understand how Dr. Blatt & his staff are always so nice to me then on the other hand upset so many people.

Dr. Blatt spent 45 minutes with me. He listened to my concerns and together we explored options for my pain relief.

Everyone says he has horrible bedside manner. He's a doctor, he relieved me of my pain, that is what I care about. Was he warm and fuzzy, no, but he was cordial and nice. And I feel better!!

I really appreciate his history and his compassion. I've seen him 3 times now and I like his ability to make sure you are cofortable and you understand his point of view.

Terribly unprofessional doctor. What a fraud.

I've neve been to a worse doctor in my life. Horrible bedside manner, rude staff. And to make matters worse when I got a second opinion the course of treatment he wanted to give me was completely wrong. As if he had my tests confused with someone else entirely they said.
