Outstanding Care!!!! I am a self proclaimed derm snob! Went to some of the top docs in Manhattan for years. I can tell you , hands down, the best care , from actually caring about the issues i have had with my skin and follow up! Gave me clear instructions and expectation on healing time. He was on point , and very understanding of my concerns! I highly highly recommend him : patient care, sensitivity and follow through is evident here. He’s definitely worth the wait and I can understand why there is one!! 5 ??????????

Callout to Jonathan Blume. I was very surprised at the positive reviews that your practice received because you effectively make me feel like a leper with my underlying skin condition. The fact that you walked in without carefully looking at my condition and 10 seconds later you said that you will get me Cortizone. Throughout our entire very short session you did not even come close to me, or even look carefully at my skin. Did I come on a bad day? Or were there something wrong with me that you have to treat me like this? When I told you that I cannot use any topical medicine such as cream due to some serious personal circumstances you were not even understanding nor apologetic that it is difficult for me to use cream. Had I know you were going to get me some cream - I wouldn’t need your service. Instead of sympathizing, you arrogantly told me that you don’t prescribe internal medicine (no pills no injection) because you don’t believe in those. What kind of dermatologist are you? If… you don’t believe in prescribing internal medication – I think that you should mention in your website as it is crucial that you be transparent about your conditional methods of treatment. I did my due diligence in filling up and providing information as accurate as possible with all 8 pages of required documentation that your office required. Your assistant is even astounded that the form was so cleanly and carefully filled. And then I have to wait two months before I can meet you – make time to drive an hour to you and our session lasted not more than 5 minutes after you get into the room? I told you that I have serious dandruff problem and you look for 5 seconds and told me that I can keep on continuing using whatever shampoo that I am using. You did not even know what remedy I was using for my scalp. Being a dermatologist – you should have at least ask me what effort did I make to curb my skin problem and my scalp problem. Instead, you were cold, lack of empathy, couldn’t care less attitude makes me realized that you will not be able to help me – its all moot and I respectfully leave the room when you were so quick to end the session. My life partner was surprised at your attitude – it is not that you are unpleasant – it is just that you don’t care and you did not understand that I came to you for help. I don’t want to play any race or sexual orientation – but this time I cannot help if that is the case. I choose to give the benefit doubt. Also most of your office staff are really cold – your office environment are sterile with your double waiting room and many do’s and don’ts signs telling your clients what to do and what not to do such as “Dr Menandez will NOT see anyone who is 15 minutes late – it is non negotiable”. I can understand that you are trying to run an efficient operation here but based on negative review here all you care about is to rotate your patient in and out as quickly as possible. Your patients are not part of your assembly line. You totally lose sight of what is utmost important in your practices and that is to care for your patients. I should also trust my instinct when your office has the audacity to call me past 9pm with an automated message reminding me that I have appointment with you in three days. It was then followed by three messages reminding that I have appointment with you WHICH I had already confirmed. Then comes the redundant messages about how I should download an app to check in. Your preoccupation with profitability insulted your clients because you think that we are unable keep our appointment by sending all those messages even after I opt out from receiving those messages. My only consolation is that there are many other dermatologists out there – and I am thankful that I don’t have to come to your practice or see you again. You are the first person that I cannot call a Doctor because you did not fulfill your duty as one or earn the distinction as one – especially not with our recent interactio

Amazing care! Removed 2 marks on my face quickly and I felt nothing during the procedure. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a caring and knowledgeable derm!

After 20 years as a patient at this practice, I find Dr Blume to be the best. He is professional and kind and will take time to explain the procedure he is going to do and is very prompt returning test results. Although very busy, he will take time to address any concerns. Would recommend him highly.

I have been going to Dr Blume for the past 4 years. He is kind and caring and always explains everything in a calm way. I was diagnosed with melanoma by Dr. Blume at a very early stage. I will always be grateful to him for finding it. I could go on and on about Dr Blume. He is a wonderful doctor and I would highly recommend him. The office staff is always a pleasure and they are helpful with any issues.

After years of seeing other dermatologists, I finally saw Dr. Blume. He recommended Accutane for my acne and now I am a new person. I finally have clear skin and look great! My only regret is that I did not see Dr. Blume sooner!

Have been seeing Dr. Blume several times a year for about 5 years. He is always thorough and competent. Best of all he never fails to follow up contacting me with test results.

OUTSTANDING DR. I never have to wait long for my results of my biopsies. Pleasant man, a little on the quiet side, but I am ok with that. I never wait long after I am called in to the examining room. His diagnoses are always on point ! And I am free to ask any questions I want. I will continue to got to DR. Blume !
