PLEASE BE AWARE. Went to this Dr for my annual, preventive care, visit and he billed for a regular visit. This caused me to get billed additional fees. Nurse took blood pressure and vitals but he never even examined me. I guess he was in a rush to send out his bill. This office also billed me for an EKG that was never performed. ( I cancelled the appointment the day before) Insurance fraud? Took months and many phone calls to get the EKG bill corrected. Office staff finally admitted that they bill your insurance company before you even get there for your procedure. Doesn't sound right or legal. Dealing with staff has been a nightmare. Both my insurance company and myself have been taken advantage of. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO SCRUTINIZE THEIR BILL FOR FEAR OF GETTING ROBBED AND SPEND COUNTLESS AMOUNT OF HRS. FOLLOWING UP WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES TO GET THEIR BILLS FIXED. GO ELSEWHERE.

Be preared to wait for any appointment scheduled. Also, be prepared for NO follow up to rescedule by staff. The office staff is more concerned with prompt billing than patient comfort or concern. If 0 stars were an option, that is what would be clicked as a rating.

Bornfreund ordered both an MRI and colonscopy for me for the first week in April. Over two months later I had yet to receive a call for a followup for results. I called and asked if they would have called if they found something wrong and was told "yes, do you want to come in". I said if you didn't find anything I don't see any reason to come in. Bornfreund became beligerent and said I could find another doctor. He never asked me what happened. I say good riddance. Another time while I was having a nagging abdominal pain he actually said "if you know of a test to run let me know". Every time I was ill I could not get in to see him and was told it would be a week away and to go to an urgent care.

I always feel that I get undivided attention while there. He is thorough, caring and understands my needs. I would highly recommended this entire office but most especially Dr. Bornfruend

Dr. Bornfreund refused to check my blood pressure even though it has been up for 6 months and not controled yet by medication. My blood pressure is high even with the other nurse in the practice except for when his nurse check it. Then he wanted to add more blood pressure medication even though he thought it was down and believed his nurse and refused to re check it. He was then rude and said he was not playing games. I just didn't want to be put on more blood pressure meds when he really wasn't even sure what my blood pressure is. I have been a nurse for 30 years and know how to take a blood pressure. A good doctor will always check the blood pressure him/her self if the patient says that it is up and only 2 times with only his nurse was it ever normal. They seem to move you through like cattle and are more interested in quantity versus quality.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bornfreund for nearly 10 years. Everything was fine until I lost my health insurance. After getting behind (missing one month's payment) our account was flagged. I have hypertension Level 2 and can die without meds. He refused to give me a 30 day extension when I ran out unless I came in and paid $120 exam fee plus the $430 outstanding bill first. When I told his head nurse that I did not have the money she suggested that I go to the emergency room!! After I groveled they agreed to let me come if I paid $260. Dr. Bornfreund never examined me but he did renew my blood pressure medication. 2 days later they sent me a letter stating that they would no longer be able to treat me!! Ha. 10 years and thousands of dollars later, not to mention the many referrals, I get kicked to the curb....just like that. My mechanic shows more sympathy over having to replace an oil filter. There are a plenty of docs in town that show compassion for their patients, he's just not… one of them.

DR.B is nice ,funny ,amd smart he listens to your problems and always does his best to solve them . He is down to earth and is easy to talk to .

He is a great doctor .He is nice and listens I never feel rushed by him .He is always happy and trys his best to help .

I am very happy that Dr. Bornfreund is my Doctor. I am very satified with his office staff and he always has time to listen to my questions.
