Dr. Jonathan William Butler, MD

Don't use him. He's an arrogant prk and treats people like total trash.

Butler was a Suboxone doctor in Nashville TN. He locked up his office and left...no warning to patients. I came for my Suboxone appointment one day and his doors were locked...no note, no notice, no nothing. Now, Suboxone is very addictive, you must get a refill every 28 days. You will be very sick if you cannot get it and not every doctor can write a prescription...you have to go through a special course. Luckily, I knew a nurse who referred me to another doctor who could not believe Butler ran out on his patients. What an unethical and mean thing for a doctor to do to his patients. He was also the head doctor at a rehab here in Tennessee where two patients died under his care....AT A REHAB FACILITY. He has numerous lawsuits against him here. Stay clear of him.

Dr Butler is one of the greatest doctors in the Lafayette area!!

Dr. Butler is a very knowledgeable and compassionate Doctor. Dr. Butler is a very good doctor. He listens and he cares. I would highly recommend Doctor Butler!

First time I saw him after Dr Watson retired, he came in the room was there 2 minutes told me to stop taking my antidepressant because I should have never been on them and he thought I was a drug addict. What the heck was that! Left in tears..changed to Dr. Mulder (and no I have no issue with drugs, I take naproxen). Don’t see this doctor!

American Health Network (Lafayette In) has a problem keeping great doctors and sadly Dr. Butler is a casualty of their system. My husband and I became patients of Dr. Butler's when each of our PCP's left AHNI and he was the new doctor on staff. We both found Dr. Jonathan W Butler to be honest, straight forward, and compassionate as a physician. My husband is a military veteran and is very particular with who he trusts when it comes to his health care. He and Dr. Butler (along with his nurse) had developed a great working relationship. Imagine our surprise when my husband arrives at AHNI Lafayette and is told that Dr. Butler is no longer there and they would not tell us where he went. This surprise turned to frustration with AHNI as we were never informed by the office that Dr. Butler was leaving in the first place. If we had known we would have asked more questions so that we could follow Dr. Butler to his new location.

He replaced Dr Watson who retired, my wife and I as well as my daughter and her family really liked him.

Dr BUTLER LISTENED, AND TOOK APPROPRIATE TIME WITH MY EXAM.

Dr. Butler made me feel like he really cares. He didn't try to rush through the appointment and he listened to me and answered all of my questions. Very impressed.
