Awesome surgeon

In making an appointment, no one called me. I found the appointment on mychart by chance. No call to confirm. 3 hour wait to see him for 10 minutes. I was the last patient in the building at 6 PM. He denied a previous diagnosis given to me himself in 2012, despite having access to my records. No call back regarding test results or plan of action. I have seen multiple doctors considered to be the best in the country, none of them were as inaccessible as this Dr. I think maybe his caseload is too large to focus on my case. Displeased.

Dr. Carmouche is EXCELLANT at what he does! He is extremely knowledgeable and can convey things to you so you understand. He truly listens to each patient and answers all of your questions. He is great with children. Dr. Carmouche is honest with you his patients and will tell you if he can help you or not. He is mine, my husband and my daughters doctor. You will not find a better doctor ANYWHERE!

Dr. Carmounche is very knowledgeable, great at explaining things to you so you understand, and takes time to listen to you. Best Doctor in the Roanoke I area in my opinion. I would recommend him to anyone who needs his services.

The best doctor I've ever had. He listens and cares about his patients. Friendly, outgoing and personable. He fixed my back to the point where I can be active 75% of my days which to me is terrific. Before that I sat for 8 years after another doctor screwed me up. He keeps close eye on his patients and you will have many follow up appointments.He is months behind schedule because of his reputation. It is worth the wait unless your pain is severe. Really, I have nothing but praise for Dr. Carmouche.

Although he is often running behind schedule, it's generally due to the thoroughness of his patient consultations. He really cares about his patients and wants them to completely understand any procedure being discussed. I had complete confidence in his ability right from my first visit. My surgery went well; his staff is great too!

He is the BEST spinal surgeon in all of Roanoke. I've worked with them all.

i waited 2 hrs to see him, was angry about that, BUT OMG so well worth the wait once I did see him.........great things are woth waiting for..........

we saw him for scoliosis in our daughter. Very caring,comfortable, confident and thorough. We got a second opinion out of town and no comparison. He has the credentials to back it up. He made a complex operation on our daughter seem straightforward. We made the right choice. Results are great. We are so grateful
