Dr Jonathan B Cohen, MD

Jonathan Cohen isan anesthesiologist at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, and anassociate professor at the University of South Florida.  He is boardcertified in both anesthesiology and critical care medicine and holds a Masterof Science degree in Patient Safety Leadership.  At Moffitt, he iscurrently the Vice Chair of Quality & Safety in the Department ofAnesthesiology and was the recipient of Moffitt's Excellence in Safety Awardfor two consecutive years. He has been invited to present on the topic ofpatient safety at several international meetings and serves on patient safetycommittees of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the AnesthesiaPatient Safety Foundation. Dr. Cohen is a clinical assistant professor in theDepartment of Medical Education at University of Illinois Chicago where he iscourse director for the Essentials for HealthCare Professionals: Patient Safetyand Quality Improvement.
