Dr. Jonathan Cohen

Terrific doctor. You won’t be disappointed. I just found out that he moved to Northwell. What a great loss for NYU. Supremely talented as a physician and cordial in every way. Dr. Cohen was was my Mom’s gastroenterologist, and I have referred others to him.

As a new patient of Doctor Cohen, I am very pleased with his care and the professionalism of his entire team. He is very personable with a kind demeanor which really helped put me at ease through the process of exploratory endoscopic gastro procedures. I was quite nervous at first. Upon learning about my concerning immediate family history with various forms of cancer, Doctor Cohen ordered additional tests just to be on the safe side as I had not had such screenings done before. Luckily, all my tests came back neg to within normal range and I am so thankful to have this knowledge now about my health that might have remained unknown without Doctor Cohen being so thorough. I would highly recommend him! Oh and it doesn’t hurt that he also looks like a young Ryan O’ Neal. Lol

I was pleased with Dr. Cohen handling my colonoscopy it went well.No discomfort it was over quick and he was informative about the procedure and the results.

Dr. Cohen is outstanding in every way. Highly intelligent and explains things over and over again. Responds quickly via the patient portal. He has cared for my 92 year old mother. His assistant, Olga, is excellent. If you have a GI issue, run--don't walk to see this doctor.

Dr Cohen is highly competent, caring, and thorough. He speaks directly to you, explains everything, answer, any questions, and makes you feel at ease and comfortable with having a procedure. His staff is also friendly, efficient and makes sure everything goes smoothly.

Dr Cohen is fantastic. And so is the entire staff at KBEC. The place is quite busy but very well organized. Everything went on time, and the procedure, results and necessary follow-up were clearly explained to me throughout.

I thought I was having a heart attack but it was acid reflux/ I also had an ulcer - dr cohen performed my endoscopy and was so thorough and caring.

Jonathan Cohen served as a consultant in the care of my husband's dangerous hiatal hernia. He is an amazingly talented, keenly intelligent, and remarkably kind doctor. I am deeply grateful for his counsel which directed us to the right diagnosis and successful surgery. He is absolutely brilliant.
