Dr. Jonathan Mark Dingeldein, DDS

While most hygienists at his office are great and do a wonderful job (except for older brunette who broke top layer of tooth when dentist wasn’t in office then proceeded to lie to me when i asked her what was going on. She just kept scraping down the tooth to make smooth) He left a broken filling that was still moving and told me it would be fine until next 6 mo. check up. I came back at 6 mo. He then told me that i had a really bad cavity on said tooth and that i should have came earlier. I told him he left me like that for 6 mo. He then ignored me, I told him I wanted the white filling. He gave me the grey filling. He told me that he couldn’t take out the filling to put white. That tooth bothers me, very tender. He says thats normal. Some of my old fillings are falling out and he said that he could not fix them. I had a dark spot on my tooth for over a year. I told him. I see him 2x a year. On the 3rd time the dark spot traveled past my gum line and down to the root. He lied and… told me that it wasn’t bad and that he would just get it out of the way. The hygienist showed me how far it really went. Complained about older brunette hygienist who broke the enamel off my tooth and tried to smooth it out. She told me nothing was wrong. An older bald headed dentist who is not my dentist came in and told me that I have a degenerative gum disease. He lied. On next appointment I asked Dr. D. He said I do not have a degenerative gum disease. That I must have had a defective spot that broke off and she merely tried to smooth out. I did not have any defects on that tooth. I can see the tooth every time i look in the mirror. The only defect was a small yellowish stain that Dr. D told me couldn’t be whitened. And that office is considered the “best” in our town. I give 3 because the hygienists are excellent. With the exception of the older brunette. I think she is mad that I complained about her. Now she digs that dental floss into my gums that they are literally cut and bleeding. And when my feet kicked up because she did that so badly where my two front teeth are she sarcastically said, “oh did that hurt?” I have never had tgat issue with any of the other hygienists. All the other hygienists I’ve dealt with are great. No pain and thoroughly clean my teeth. I know she did it on purpose because I have a little gap and never have issues getting the floss slide in between my two front teeth. She didn’t do that before. So I tell them I will not be cleaned by her. My cuts were so deep that it hurt when I brushed my teeth for a few days.
