Dr. Jonathan Louis Ferguson, MD

Very disappointed. He doesn't explain any results after exams. His bedside manner is very poor. I would never recommend him to other people.

Does not spend a lot of time with you and no bed side manner

He is very quick in the visit almost to the point that I'm not sure he wants to take the time to listen. However, he also diagnoses guickly and on something other doctors didn't catch. Plus he is very willing to answer questions on the phone and followed up on one call personally and was very reassuring. He knows his stuff,is paying attention and cares.

Dr. Ferguson removed my daughter's tonsils and adenoids. We had heard he was the best in town. Believing he was, I went ahead and scheduled my septoplasty with him last year. A few months ago, my rheumotologist sent me to Ferguson for biopsies. Ferguson pushed the biopsy out for nine months saying that my symptoms weren't severe enough to warrant the procedure. I went to UW Madison for a second opinion with rheumotology. The physician there ordered the same biopsy through the ENT clinic at UW. The biopsy was performed in the office quickly and was positive. Seeing that ENT for a follow-up, it seems my septum is still deviated. So now I'm wondering... after having spent time and money on a procedure that didn't work and being withheld treatment for 9months... where does he earn the reputation for being the best in town? Perhaps it's because very few of us are qualified to make that assessment.

Dr. Ferguson did a great job with my daughters surgery. I feel very confident in his abilities as a doctor and surgeon. Bedside manner could use some work though.
