Dr. Jonathan Furmanek, DPM, AACFAS, is a board-qualified podiatric surgeon specializing in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, foot and ankle surgery, and podiatry. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree magna cum laude from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Furmanek completed his residency at MedStar Georgetown University and MedStar Washington Hospital Center, where he trained in skeletal, musculoskeletal, advanced plastic surgery, and limb salvage techniques. He further advanced his expertise through a fellowship in sports medicine and reconstructive surgery under Dr. Eugene Batelli in southwest Florida. Dr. Furmanek is an associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a certified wound specialist through the American Board of Wound Management.

Excellent experience. Doctor was the first podiatrist who was able to give me a diagnosis regarding my feet pain that made sense and was relevant to my xrays.
