Dr. Jonathan Bradford Gibson, MD

Funny thing is... a review on here about a lady who said that he refused to tie her tubes, which I doubt is true. But if she wants a doctor that can completely remove a woman's fertility or just a woman's hormones I have several to refer her to! I saw several gynecologists over the years who just wanted to remove my fallopian tubes and ovaries because I was having pain. I saw numerous doctors that refused to remove my IUD until the pain was "resolved". I had one doctor tell me that he was just going to remove my ovaries because I wasn't using them anymore at the ripe age of 29. Turns out the OBGYN that put in my IUD gave me a pelvis infection and my left fallopian tube was so infected that it was about to burst. I saw Dr Gibson and he immediately diagnosed this and rush me into emergency surgery. I was crying before I went in because I begged him not to remove my ovaries and he promised me that he would not remove anything that he did not have to remove. Thankfully he didn't and now I… am here 4 years later finally pregnant with a much loved and wanted baby. Not only did this doctor save my life he allowed me to be a mom again when other doctors just wanted to basically sterilize me.

Dr Gibson is AWESOME!! He is so good at what he does. I recommend him to everyone! Compassionate, kind, listens and hears what you are saying, knowledgeable, and stays on schedule while always making me feel like I have all the time I need. And I love he has a sense of humor when I want to make things light. Since he moved to Cottonwood OB/GYN several years ago it's even better... closer to me!

Wayback when around 2018 I wanted to get my tubes tied as I already have three kids. This man refused to tie my tubes and gave the nastiest reasons why. “Well what if your children and husband die and your future husband wants more kids? What if your future husband wants kids?” Then about a year later ended up in his office again due to having a miscarriage. After I went into his office we talked about doing a DNC since I was bleeding so much. Well after the DNC everything was fine I went home. Fast forward to about two years later when I need to get my birth control removed. I go to make an appointment for the same clinic and hospital I’ve used my whole entire life and had all my kids at, and I can’t. I was removed from the Alta View Hospital due to having a ‘spontaneous abortion’ Needless to say, wouldn’t trust this Dr ever again. The nasty entitlement that men have more control over your body is sickening.

If you want a GREAT doctor with Compassion, Bedside manner, Knowledge,and who is someone you can ask questions and talk to, go to Dr. Gibson. What a find! I would send every woman I know to him. He is what medicine should be.
