Dr. Jonathan J Golab, DDS

I have a long history of dental issues. In the past I have had a lot of mercury fillings and a root canal with a crown. I was catching a lot of food, my teeth looked cracked and my gums were itchy from all these old fillings and a space that formed between my crown and a molar. I was really tired of my dentist telling me everything "looked fine" when I asked. I did a lot of research to find a high quality dentist and found Dr. Golab. He took so many photos of my situation and thoroughly went over with me exactly what my problems were. I had so many cracks and cavities under all my fillings and crown. Dr Golab helped me replace them with porcelain onlays..he explained they are more strong and long term so I wont have to keep replacing my fillings. I truly feel like it is definitely worth the money because I have had zero issues with my bite or sensitivity. My previous offices were always busy and in a hurry covered under my insurance plans but I've learned that you get what you pay… for. My food traps are gone and my gums finally feel firm and not spongey. When I chew I finally feel normal and there is no longer any pain. I am truly thankful for Dr. Golab's time, knowledge and care.

After being in the dental field then relocating, l found Dr Golab. He is a very talented dentist and I am a picky customer. I found my dental home!

This is the most comprehensive, caring man I have met in quite some time. Dr Golab took over 2 hours, for free, to assess my situation. I don't have a lot of money, and I called the office as I had a broken tooth. He called me on the phone to ask how he could help me. We talked for about 30 minutes, and as I had not a lot of money, he said come in, let me look, for no charge, and see how he could help me. Turns out he took X-rays, photos, and never charged me. He even offered to give me a discount, just to help me on that one broken tooth. Can you say "Sent from Heaven." My tooth got fixed, I feel fantastic, and Dr Golab helped me out and I am forever thankful to him. Thank you Dr Golab!

just now I have had two dental emergencies in 15 years. Sadly, they were both this year. I had a dental emergency on the weekend and though I wasn’t a patient of record I did finally get somebody to answer the phone (when my now former dentist didn’t. Again.) who stated that Dr. Golab would see me the next day. That was SO much appreciated. They wanted a surgical clearance to treat me which I obtained immediately and that’s where everything came to a screeching halt. Despite reaching out numerous times the next day I didn’t get any calls back or messages back from the office or the doctor. The least they could’ve done was to let me know they couldn’t see me so I could’ve made other plans. There was no response whatsoever. They left me another day in excruciating pain. Holistic dentistry is expensive and my family pays a lot for dental care. We were looking for a new practice to call home. It will not be here! When you are immune-compromised you need a dentist that will respond on the… weekends and after hours. People have lives and go out of town, have emergencies etc., but when you do, have a doctor that covers for you. At the very least communicate. I’m sure Dr. Golab is a wonderful dentist but there is a HUGE gap here. Too bad.

I'm incredibly thankful to have found Dr. Golab and his team. I came to him for a second opinion after having two very bad experiences with previous dentists that caused worsening conditions with my teeth (I ended up having to have two root canals done due to how aggressive the other dentists treated my teeth). During my very first visit, Dr. Golab spent an hour with me to answer all my questions and explain his techniques in detail with much care and understanding about my fears. I was so impressed with the time they spent with me and Dr. Golab's confidence in his work that I decided it was worth a try. He is more conservative than a lot of dentists (preserves more healthy tooth structure) and is very highly skilled. I started treatment sometime around 2017 and have continued my care there. I have decay issues with my teeth and he has successfully worked on three quadrants of my mouth with very little pain and discomfort afterward and a totally successful recovery with no… complications! Also, all the work he has done fits well and I haven't had to go back to get anything adjusted afterwards- his work is that skilled. I cannot recommend him highly enough! I was the dental patient with two very horrible experiences previous to finding him that came into his office practically shaking with fear and very high heart rate. It was so scary to try again, but I'm so thankful I gave him the opportunity. They are very good at helping those who have dental fears and are certainly worth the bit of higher cost. I know my mouth is being taken care of properly now and I'm on the road to better health. Their dental hygienist, Laura, is excellent and she has helped me to get my gums into very healthy condition. Thank you to the entire staff for their amazing care and helping me to feel comfortable while I'm there! So very happy with my care. God bless you!

In 2015 I visited a new dentist after my long-time dentist retired and recommended this new dentist. I was shocked by the new dentist’s recommendation that I needed an dental implant where one of my teeth had been removed and missing for most of my adult life. I never had any problems with this area and also my dentists in the past never saw this area as a problem. This issue prompted me to seek second opinions from two periodontists and an additional general dentist. All three dental clinicians didn’t agree with the findings of my new dentist but did agree that I had massive decay in two upper right-hand back teeth next to a wisdom tooth. Each of the two teeth had amalgam (“silver”) fillings. All three dental professionals recommended replacing the decayed two teeth with implants. My concern was that my sinus cavity could be punctured if the implant procedure went wrong not to mention the high-cost of implements and long healing time. I had no pain or any other symptoms… from this reported decayed condition including any sinus problems. I preferred saving as much of my teeth structure as possible and employing inlays or overlays (crowns) restoration. My research for another new dentist, who would attempt to save some portions of my teeth before employing the extreme implant procedure, led me to Dr. Jonathan Golab. After our first consultation, he believed that he could save at least one tooth structure and maybe both. He honestly stated that he would not know until he began his restoration procedure. He also warned me that once he started his procedure, the decay might be so extreme that root canal procedures, teeth extractions and implants may be necessary. Fortunately, Dr. Golab’s originally planned dental procedure was successful. After three years, my two upper right-hand back teeth are still healthy. During this period he restored the remainder of my unhealthy teeth. Problematic amalgam filings were replaced by natural looking dental composites and old crowns were replaced by composite inlays and overlays. Additionally my crooked upper and lower front teeth were replaced by veneers. He has now improved 90 percent of my teeth! Last but not least, Dr. Golab’s front office staff, oral hygienist and dental techs are professional, helpful and have contributed to my overall oral health and happiness.
