Dr. Jonathan C Hitzman, MD

Dr. Hitzman has been treating me for many years. He is very knowledgeable and down to earth. He discusses my medical issues clearly and concisely. He lays out treatment options and answers all my questions. He knows when to refer to specialists and who to recommend. I trust him. His standards in his practice are exemplary.

My daughter had been in an auto accident and lost her fiance in another town. Later her neck began to bother her. She filled out pre appointment papers and called to schedule. The gal hounded her about getting records on her neck of which there were none and continued to rudely insist. My daughter could not get her to accept her answer and finally gave up and never got an appointment. Due to her fragile emotional state this upset her terribly. She was dealt with very unprofessionally with a terrible lack of empathy.

Dr. Hitzman treated me very poorly, after leaving the office I felt frustrated, upset, and stupid. His communication skills are very poor, he would not listen to my concerns, and made me feel that my problem was not a real concern. He said "that is life" and basically you need to deal with it. My health is very important to me, it is very valuable, and in my opinion, my doctor should have my best interest at mind. I felt belittled and mistreated. I WOULD not recommend him to anyone.

Best doctor I have had! He is so warm and friendly and down to earth! Dr. Hitzman is very highly recommended and will continue to be because of his loyal patients! If you need a new doc come to Pendleton Family Medicine-they are all wonderful.

Very knowledgable. Takes the time to address all your concerns. Goes through your test item by item and explains what each result means and how it affects you pysicaly. Very personable and freindly.Over all a very nice man.
