Dr. Jonathan Taylor Hovda, MD

I went for a second opinion and spent a whole day filling out their forms and gathering records they wanted. I was given breathing tests I'd had recently. Dr. Honda arrived belligerent. "What do you want from me?" he ?opening. Then, angrily, "Who's this?" speaking of my husband who had come to listen. It quickly became clear he had no knowledge of my case. When I pressed for better ideas for my breathing issues, he offered the names.of the two.inhalers I had. He added they were all the same so there was no point in looking for others. When I asked about an asthma issue, he stated I didn't have it.(My pulmonologist diagnosed it along with copd).Further, he said he didn't know how to tell anyway.There was a bit more, but I left fighting tears and in shock. As was my husband.We're polite,gray haired 80 year olds and have never been treated so unprofessionally. His behavior is a mystery. If he hates consults, his office shouldn't schedule.

I visited with Dr. Hovda yesterday. I believe he is a very thorough physician. He addresses all concerns and is genuinely concerned for your health. I must say is is by far one of the best physicians I have seen in quite a while.

He is fantastic . Very thorough and explains things to you in layman terms..WOULD recommend him to anyone.
