Dr. Jonathan K Huang, MD

I had a very unpleasant experience with this provider. I was reduced to tears upon my departure which the desk knows about. He was dismissive, rude and arrogant. He yawned throughout my visit. I did not know if it was because I was a woman or he treated everyone like that. I cannot recommend this provider.

It wasn’t that he was unpleasant. I will allow a star for that. It’s that I felt devalued and that I wasn’t listened to. If one comes in with a specific need, it’s customary to address that need rather than dismiss it and question its validity. I had a concern about a possible enlarged lymph node—I was referred to an endocrinologist. Dr. Huang didn’t bother to check the lymph node, but said a lot of people have enlarged lymph nodes if they have an infection or virus… but he never asked if I did. (I didn’t.) He ignored the main reason I was there by drawing a parallel between my symptoms and the symptoms medical students might have under stress. (Though these students didn’t have thyroid issues paired with their symptoms.) I don’t know if he thought I was a hypochondriac or whatever, but he made me question why I even came in. He didn’t listen to me anyway.
