Dr. Jonathan Eric Klarfeld, MD

A year ago I involved in a serious auto accident that invilved an extended trip to the ER. The following Monday, after explaining what had happened to my pcp’s nurse, she insisted no doctor in the practice could see me for a week. Luckily, she forwarded my call to Dr. Klarfeld’s office. Not only was I seen the next day, but when Dr Klarfeld reviewed the EKG results from the ER and found them troubling he ordered a new EKG (which I had immediately). By the time he saw me 2 hours later he’d reviewed the new EKG and my EKGs over the prior 10 years for comparison. He did not let me leave until he was satisfied that his suspicion - the irregular results from the EKG at the ER were due to medication I had been given- was correct. He also thoroughly explained why he ordered the new EKG and what he would have done had he still not been satisfied after that (additional tests). This the kind of “world class” medical care the Clinic advertises but seldom delivers. I only wish… there were more doctors like Dr. Klarfeld.

Dr. Klarfeld is not only one of the of finest physicians that I have ever known, but also one great human being. For not only is he totally thorough in his approach to every patient, but he cares deeply about their well being. Truly, I have been blessed to have been referred to him about thirty years ago. I would recommend him unequivocally to anyone who wants a totally dedicated and caring physician.

Dr. Klarfeld is very knowledgeable, caring, thorough and goes beyond the call of duty. Not only is he a medical expert, but he takes time for each patient and excels in his human qualities. We feel very fortunate to have him as our physician!

You put in a lot of hard work to pay premiums and get your health checked. I don't think a rude staff with an impatient doctor is the way to go. Extremely disappointed with the care in this office.

Our experience with Dr. Klarfeld has been quite disturbing. His office manager has been rude on a number of occasions and Dr. Klarfeld makes it known that his time is much more valuable than his patient's time or well-being. Recently, when we asked to go over our list of questions during an appointment, Dr. Klarfeld's response was "I don't have time for questions." My recommendation is to find another doctor. We did -- and Dr. Klarfeld never called to find out what happened...he doesn't care. With another doctor, all of our questions are being answered and we are being treated with great care and respect.

Found the staff (his wife) rude. The Dr said he did not have time to answer questions. I have changed Drs......What a difference!!!

Jonathan Klarfeld has been my doctor for 18 years. He is very knowelgeable, very open, with great bedside manner.
