Dr. Jonathan Lee, MD

Dr. Jonathan Chia-Ho Lee is a Canadian-trained, board-certified in adult psychiatry, and has experience to treat all ages. He completed his residencies at the University of Toronto where he served as chief resident at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and the Hospital for Sick Children. As a second-generation Chinese-Canadian, he is passionate about language justice and serving the Mandarin-speaking community. “I grew up watching Frasier every night at dinner with my parents who probably never imagined I'd choose to become a psychiatrist as a result. Though my present therapeutic style is informed more by DBT and modern dynamic therapy than psychoanalysis, I owe it to Dr. Crane's on-air formulations for inspiring me to dig deeper from a young age. The best part of my job is helping people see themselves (and others) in a new light -- to begin writing new stories about where they've come from, who they are, and who they hope to be.”-Dr. Lee
