Dr. Jonathan K Ligh, MD

Dr. Ligh does not know how to treat retina detachment. He did a few operation on my niece eye but her retina still detached, My niece lose her eye vision. He is the worst eye doctor.

Dr. Ligh doesn’t know how to treat eyes problems. He did a few operations on my niece’s eye. He ruined my niece’s eye.

This doctor doesn’t know which treatment to treat the eyes problems. He will try different treatments, the eye will eventually ruined. He ruined two peoples eyes.

Overall I think he’s a good eye doctor however him/his staff didn’t send in the proper paperwork to my insurance company and therefore didn’t get paid and he tried to somehow blame me even after I gave them the info again. Then he refused to see me the following year. In fact his staff was rude and even told me the office was closing and he was no longer taking appts. Four months later and they’re still open & taking appts because I referred a friend.

This person, I even do not want to call him doctor, ruined my eye, when did the operation at Eye and Ear Infirmary. He lied to me subsequently about what happened during operation. Did not put correct info in writing after operational instruction. He always late by much coming to the office and never apologize. I heard many negative opinions about this "doctor" and would recommend to avoid to trust your eyes to him

Came to see Dr. Ligh with my mother to Mark Joffe Ocean Parkway office. First horrible uncaring stuff, 2nd they book twenty patients in one hour. Dr. comes late. Do not know how good the Dr. is but he seemed to rush you quickly to get to the next patient. No clear communication nor understanding of the problem. Would never recommend the office. They do testing in the hallway (very strange) they book tons of patient i guess to make more money. Do not seem caring or professional. Not sure how all the good reviews come from maybe from Manhattan office.

I would recommend Dr. Ligh to anyone looking for an opthalmologist.
