Jonathan Lipton, MD, PhD

Jonathan Lipton, MD, PhD, is a neurologist in the Department of Neurology and Sleep Center at Boston Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School. He specializes in child neurology and sleep medicine, with expertise in circadian biology, neurologic sleep disorders, epilepsy, and neurodevelopmental conditions affecting children and adolescents. Dr. Lipton earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his medical degree and PhD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and completed his pediatrics internship at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, followed by residency training in neurology and fellowship training in sleep medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Board certified in child and adolescent neurology and sleep medicine, his clinical and research work focuses on understanding how circadian rhythms and cellular signaling pathways influence brain development and …neurologic disease.
