I had the mohs procedure previously by another physician which was very traumatizing, gave me PTSD. I was referred to Dr. Lopez by my dermatologist for another mohs procedure on my lip. I explained to him what I had been through, needless to say, he was amazing, gentle, compassionate and his staff were as well. He made what can be a terrifying experience not bad at all! He restored my faith and trust. I would highly recommend Dr. Lopez to anyone. What a blessing he is to his patients.

Dr. Lopez was recommended to me by my dermatologist to remove a basal cell carcinoma since it was in a place on my face that she didn't feel comfortable removing. That was the best recommendation I have ever received from another doctor. From the moment I called to make my appointment, I was impressed with the professionalism, but also the friendliness of the staff. I could tell that I was important to them and not just another phone call. I continued to be impressed when I went there for my procedure. The receptionist, Juliet, was helpful, friendly, and spoke to ME like I was important. We were offered refreshments and snacks. In the treatment room, Leticia, the medical assistant made my husband and I very comfortable. When Dr. Lopez came into the room, instead of immediately jumping into the procedure, he thoroughly explained what he was going to do, the after affects, and how to take care of the wound. He then drew a picture on my face so I saw exactly what he was going to do.… Everything went according to plan. Later that evening, he personally called me to see how I was doing. Today, when I took off the bandage and saw the stitches, I was amazed at how you could hardly see where he put the sutures. You would have thought he was a plastic surgeon!!! I would recommend Dr. Lopez.
