Dr. Jonathan T Miller, MD

This doctor and his nurses don't care about their patients. His nurse failed to call in a prescription to the pharmacy on Friday thus forcing my mom to suffer and be in pain all weekend. We initially contacted Dr. Miller on Thursday concerning the issue. He is either overloaded on patients or he doesn't truly care about his patients. If I could rate him negative stars, I would. Additionally he has treated my dad in the past. Through all of the pain and suffering, Dr. Miller pretty much did nothing other than collect payments for services.

I WAS a patient if Dr. Miller! I was running late for my appointment (my fault) and I call to see if it’s okay to come on. Apparently, you can be 15 late BUT not 20. I asked if they would call in my medicine until I can reschedule...the answer was NO. I am not on anything narcotic just blood pressure and hormones. SO, don’t count on the rude office staff if you need help because if it’s to close to quitting time they will NOT help you! Needless to say, I won’t be rescheduling with Dr. Miller because of his RUDE and unprofessional staff! I am sure they have plenty of patients!

I swapped to Dr.Miller as a recommendation of my wife and I was not happy with my current doctor. The first few visits were good and even made some progress. So after the third visit he changed some medications on me without my full knowledge and when I called and spoke with the nurse I stated that was insane and also stated that I would not be happy but would make an appointment. I did use the word s**t and called back when I got a free minute and I have been banned from his office due to threatening behavior. I find that this is totally what is wrong with the world today especially from a doctor. You would expect him not to be a snowflake and be able to speak the truth and give man to man advice with some criticism. Now that being said I may have been slightly out of line,however it just shows he doesn’t need to be my doctor. Take from this review what you will. Also he started me on injections and never got clear test results when calling nobody could tell me nothing but everything… looked good.

Can’t get his office to respond to my pharmacy about a prescription that needs an authorization .... what does it take

The front desk lady by the name of Jessica Patrick was VERY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. She even pulled her phone out & started to tap on it right in front of me. DR. MILLER IS A GREAT DOCTOR!! Its just the front desk clerk NEED AN INSERVICE ON HOW TO BE FRIENDLY & PROFESSIONAL TO THE PATIENTS.

I've been going to Dr. Miller for 10 years, and I couldn't be more pleased. He always takes the time to listen, and by nature has an engaging, often humorous, personality. I like that he never rushes, and explains things in a way you can understand. He's a straight-shooter, too, which I greatly appreciate....he doesn't beat around the bush when diagnosing your problem, and he'll tell it like it is. At the same time, though, he's willing to listen to your thoughts about treatment. He wants you to be as comfortable as possible with whatever course of action is taken to address your issue.

When you first see Dr. Miller, he is charming and has wonderful bedside manner that makes you instantly adore him as a physician. That part never fades. However, I have seen him for many years but I worry that sometimes things are overlooked or he does not always take things seriously. I am not talking about his personality because he has a joking personality that is great but as far as believing what I am saying and how bad I may actually feel. Some things he just blows off like smoke and won't do further research into "why" unless you really push for it or remind him (which I shouldn't have to remind him...). He needs to be much better about follow up testing and follow ups in general. I will say, he lacks in this department tremendously (follow up appointments). It should not have to be on the patient to know if they need a follow up or not. If you have been sick and not getting better or have had some tests or blood work that have been off from your normal, he needs to be requiring… follow ups with him to make sure those things are going back to normal and you feel better as a whole. He is very book smart so I don't doubt his intelligence and he is very honest about things he is not sure about which I appreciate. One final thing, I also think it is tacky he does not visit his admitted patients in the hospital anymore. Im sure it is not how he feels but it makes the patients feel like he does not care. Overall he is good doctor, but there are certainly things that make me say "eh..".

Dr.Miller takes the time to listen to you and he is always making me smile.
